Grow a company.
Build. Find the wall. Run the quarter.
Station 12 · unoccupied
The bench is free. The plaque is blank.
Build something that works, decide what it is for, and take it public. A run is 32 quarters. A careful first run is about an hour and a half to two hours, by our own estimate and not a timer. It saves as you go, and nothing happens while you are away.
6 sockets to start, and one lamp maker already in the shed.
About the simulation
A run is 32 quarters in three acts. A careful first run is about an hour and three quarters of play and a fast one about a quarter of that; both are design targets, not a timer or a measured promise. A company that has not met the underwriters' conditions when the last quarter ends is not listed, and the run ends with it still private.
Every quarter has a preview. Nothing progresses while the game is closed. The valuation model is fictional. Keep four things apart: what the company sold, what cash it holds, how much of it you own, and what a buyer might say it is worth.
